We need YOU to join the Black Public Relations Society of New York for this year’s AIDS Walk New York, and walk with us on Sunday, May 19, 2013. New York, the world’s largest fundraising event, benefits Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC) and more than 40 other tri-state area AIDS service organizations.  GMHC is the nation’s oldest and most comprehensive AIDS service organization, serving approximately 15,000 people living with HIV and AIDS each year, as well as countless more through its prevention and advocacy work locally and nationally.

For 28 years, AIDS Walk New York has empowered over 800,000 people to participate in the walk, and has received donations from millions of others, raising a total of $128 million to fight HIV and AIDS.  The funds raised are used to sustain GMHC’s prevention, care, and advocacy programs for men, women and families affected by the disease.
